Teichert on the Trail

This week, General Teichert joined Keleigh Beeson on NewsNation and John Scott on Fox News to discuss President Biden’s recent meeting with Zelenskyy, national security spending, and Middle-Eastern threats against the U.S. by Iran.

General Teichert joined NewsNation on Tuesday to discuss Biden’s meeting with Zelenskyy and American interest in funding Ukraine. Teichert stated in part, “And right now with the stalemate there’s no clear path forward to achieve the types of objectives that we’ve heard from President Zelenskyy. And part of the reason that American support has fallen off is because while Ukrainians have been very brave and skillful in fighting the war for the last 22 months, there’s no clear end in sight that would meet our objectives and Zelenskyy’s objectives. We need to figure out how to best allocate our funds to manage that portfolio of national security concerns around the world.”

General Teichert joined Fox News on Saturday to discuss the recent attacks on the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad. When discussing Iran’s collaboration in the attacks, John responded, “All of this that’s gone on in the last two months has been greenlit by Iran. Fortunately, there at the embassy in Baghdad there’s an air defense system to help protect them. My team brought that in when I was the Senior Defense Official there in the summer of 2020. But all of these malign activities that are going on, including the 85 attacks and 70 Americans injured and one American killed, have all been prompted by an Iran that has not been deterred, and frankly has been emboldened, by the weakness of the Biden Administration for the last three years.”

God bless you! A conservative in MD? I am very interested in following your campaign. Not sure what capacity at this point. Prayer and interest for sure! Praying for some sanity to return to this nation! And thank you for your service and willingness to serve again!

Do you support more money to Ukraine? Haven’t we sent enough? Shouldn’t we be spending money to secure our own borders and protecting our CITIZENS rather than allowing illegals to infiltrate our country bringing with it massive drugs killing our kids, trafficking of all kinds, destruction to properties? We have no idea who is coming into our country as they continue to flood in and take resources better spent on our own homeless population. What about homeless vets as a start?

I concur with Karen. We have spent enough from our national treasury on Ukraine. We need to spend money securing OUR border, NOT Ukraine’s . Why isn”t the border /immigration one of your four pillars?
