This week, John Teichert joined Jim Lokay on Fox’s The Final 5 and Andrew Wilkow on The Wilkow Majority to discuss his bid for the U.S. Senate and the need for leadership in Washington, D.C.
While discussing the future of the American government on The Final 5, Teichert explained his optimism in the American public by saying, “There’s optimism because this is an amazing American experiment. I jumped into this race because I’m concerned that if we head down the direction that is the status quo, then we might go astray as a country. But I believe that people are the solution to the problems, and they just need to be unleashed and unshackled from the status quo that is harming them and their families.”
On Wednesday, Teichert joined Andrew Wilkow, discussing federal issues on foreign affairs. John stated on the matter, “The Constitution defines the responsibility of going to war to Congress, so that people get a say on what our federal government does. And whether it’s Ukraine or whether it’s the Western Pacific or the Middle East, all of those things need to go through Congress – but we also need to get control of borders because it is out of control and it’s a pressing national security crisis that’s already here in our country.”

Last week, the endorsements began to roll in as John Teichert, a retired Air Force Brigadier General, seeks the GOP nomination as a candidate for U.S. Senate. Teichert was excited to announce that he’s received support in his race for Senate from State Senator Johnny Ray Salling from Baltimore County (District 06), Delegate Wayne Hartman from Worcester and Wicomico Counties (District 38C), and Delegate Matt Morgan from St. Mary’s County (District 29A).
