Mark Green Endorses Teichert for U.S. Senate: “A Proven Leader”

BALTIMORE, MD.— John Teichert, a retired Air Force Brigadier General and candidate for the open U.S. Senate seat in Maryland, is thrilled to continue the new year with yet another endorsement; this one on behalf of Congressman Mark Green (TN-07), Chair of the House Committee on Homeland Security.

In a statement, Chairman Green shared why he is choosing to endorse John Teichert this election season, stating, “As Chair of the House Committee on Homeland Security, I see our critical need for national security experts in Congress every single day. General Teichert is a proven leader, a keen innovator, a decorated veteran, and a national security expert who has served our country with honor, distinction, and oversized impact.”

The Congressman goes on to say of General Teichert, “He understands the pressing challenges we face at home and abroad and has the vision and courage to tackle them. He will be a strong voice for Maryland and a staunch defender for liberty and national security in the U.S. Senate.”

Chairman Green’s endorsement follows a plethora of support flooding in for General Teichert, including that of Maryland state leaders and law enforcement officials. General Teichert is fighting for a change in Washington D.C., one that elects leaders not politicians, who are focused on providing opportunity and safety for people across the great state of Maryland.
